Forma No. 40 is an artwork by Nick Jakho and part of the Forma series, defined by precise division, symmetry and material presence. The work is made from 4 mm aluminium and mounted on a wooden frame with a fine 5 mm shadow gap running around the entire piece. This distance from the wall enhances its object-like character, positioning the work between painting, relief and sculpture.

The chiffon-covered edges feature a subtle gradient from black to grey, creating visual depth and emphasising both the volume of the metal and the symmetry of the composition.
