Liminal Fields

The Liminal Fields series explores black as a changing field of perception. Built from numerous layers of acrylic, the works appear almost monochrome in subdued light, while brighter surroundings reveal subtle structures, traces and shifts in depth. Their cool-toned surfaces interact with warm light, allowing the paintings to change continuously and remain open to new interpretations.
